How To Setup Your American Truck Simulator Server
This guide will help you setup your new 1G American Truck Simulator Dedicated Server.
While A Steam Server Token is optional, American Truck Simulator servers require you to export the server packages from the game on your PC and upload them to the server.
1. Enable Admin Console
The first step is enabling the Admin Console on your game to be able to export the server packages.
You can find a guide for this step here: How To Enable The Admin Console On American Truck Simulator
2. Export The Server Packages
Once the console is enabled, you need to export the server packages from inside the game.
You can find a guide for this step here: How To Export The Server Packages On American Truck Simulator
3. Upload The Server Packages
After exporting the server packages, you need to upload them from your PC to the server.
You can find a guide for this step here: How To Upload The Server Packages To Your American Truck Simulator Server
4. Generate A Steam Server Token (Optional)
An optional final step is to generate and apply a Steam Server Token to the server. By default, whenever a dedicated server is launched it is using an anonymous account. For such an account a non-persistent server id is generated (used for direct search). To avoid this you can acquire a logon token.
