How To Upload Your Existing V Rising Save

Have an existing world you would like to upload to your new 1G V Rising server?
This Tutorial will help guide you through the relatively straight forward process.

Upload Save From Your PC:



Stop Your Server.
Click [File Manager].
Click [Saved] folder.
Click [Saves] folder.
Click [v1] folder.
Click [UPLOAD] button.
Click [Select Folder...] button.
Navigate to folder: [%UserProfile%\AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising\Saves\v1].
Select the Save Folder you would like to use (ex. 8a91b2fb-d8e8-4700-aaf2-66389fdfecee) and upload it, Press "Done" when completed.
Right click the folder you just uploaded and click [Rename].
Rename the folder to something easy to remember like "MySave".
Click on [Saved] in the file manager navigation bar to return to the Saved directory.
Click [Settings] Folder.
Click [UPLOAD] button.
Click [Select Files...] button.
Navigate to folder: [%UserProfile%\AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising\Saves\v1\"Save Folder you just uploaded"].
Upload ONLY the "ServerGameSettings" file, Press "Done" when completed.
View Side Bar Navigation & Click [Configuration Files].
Find ServerHostSettings.json & Click [Config Editor].
Locate "Save File Name:" & change "1GServerHost" to the name of the save folder you just uploaded. Adjust other settings as well to your preferred values.
Click [SAVE & EXIT].
Go Back To Control Panel Home (Side Bar Navigation & Click Gamepad Icon).
Start Your Server.
